Extreme Leadership for Students offers students a way to develop leadership skills through instruction and networking. They will then apply those skills through a “Leadership in Action” project. This year’s project focus is having students create their ideal “21st Century School.” The project will be completed by the end of April and showcased at a “Gallery Walk” of projects shared with superintendents at the May SAC meeting. Each district may send one junior and one senior who serve in leadership roles in their school. These students may be class officers, officers of Student Council, National Honor Society, athletes, or any student who has leadership potential. In order to develop all areas of leadership and create an effective network of students, the same two students MUST be committed to participating in all seven sessions. Each session is held at the IU from 11:00-1:00. Lunch is included. A staff member from each district is encouraged to attend with their students. |
